These bikes are the best. We’ve now bought 3 Woom bikes for our kids. They are much lighter and higher quality than other bikes.
Has not used as of yet; daughter to be attending a bicycle class in late June. Class is specifically structured for special needs individuals and assist them with building confidence to ride a 2 wheeled bicycle. My daughter is soon to be age 32 and has never ridden a bike other than a tricycle. Hoping that this upcoming class will provide my daughter with the confidence needed. A local bike shop which does not carry Woom bikes, recommended this bike for my daughter.

We’ve had our two kiddos in Woom 3 and 4, and we recently purchased the 5. We have always been pleased with Woom performance, bike quality, and mechanics! Highly recommend this versatile ride. Our kids can regularly ride 10 miles or more (asphalt, concrete, hard packed non-technical dirt) or just ride bikes in the neighborhood for fun.
We weren’t familiar with Woom bikes until our granddaughter announced that she wanted one. We rather reluctantly ordered a purple Woom 5 for Christmas. We are now among Woom’s biggest fans! This bike is so well made and navigates a hilly neighborhood with ease. The old bike required walking it up steep hills, but not this one. To quote the friend next door, “If H rides up that hill I will be so impressed!” Then “Wow! How did she do that?” This bike is a hit!
Hi all,I was trying to teach my son to ride for a few years without success. We even signed him to a learn-to-ride kids group where he learned the basics. But for some reason, at home, he wasn't be able to ride far and seems to be very frustrated. When purchasing the Woom 5 I said to myself that this is my last try as I know how important it is to know to ride bikes at this age. From the first try, he was in-love with the Woom bikes. After a few tries, he started to ride all alone and all around the neighborhood. This was just a few weeks ago!Today he is riding with friends every day!We couldn't be more happy! The Woom bikes are really something else!Thank you!
It's very well thought out bike with quality parts and seems to be working great. We had the odd squeak sound up front that was caused by the dust cover rubbing against the hub. Adjusting it slightly with my fingers resolved the issue. I found putting it together was easy. Major props for the fender quality and design and for offering a rack. There was a small paint defect but no big deal. It's a bit of a splurge but with three kids this was an easy decision. I wish I purchased the bike and brand sooner.
I bought 2 woom 5 bikes for my kids. Very light weight and easy to ride. But when I put the bike together, the brakes kept touching the rim. I've watched videos online to correct this but it did not work. I also called woom regarding the problem but they couldn't help. I also told them about a weird whinging sound coming from the front wheel. They told me to video the sound and send it to them. That was 3 weeks ago when I sent the video. No reply. So i am left with 2 bikes with bad front brakes and weird sound. Hopefully, when I get a chance, I can bring it to a bike shop and pay to resolve this problem. Overall, good bike but not satisfied. $500 bike shouldn't have these issues. My 2 cent.
This is our fourth Woom bike. We started of with size 2-3-4- and now the 5. The 5 comes with 24" wheels which makes it a quite big but also very stable to ride. The mint green looks really sweet. Easy assembly, and only a minor adjustment of the front brake. For us the quality, design/geometry, and light-weight, make these the best possible bikes for children. Our daughters all were able to ride within minutes with ease and comfort at the age of 3 on the size 2 (all were on a balance bike before). Most other bikes sold, especially in the US, look fancy, have nice stickers, and glitter, but are heavy, many with bad brakes, and a struggle to ride. Woom really did a great job in making riding for children easier and safer. Out of the four bikes so far, we only had one minor warranty case, which was handled immediately and with outstanding care. So you don't just get a great bike, but also great service, in case you ever need it!
As soon as the UPS guy put the box down, out came rolling a screw and thankfully my kid saw it. Two issues 1. After assembling the bike we realized seat post clamp screw is missing. 2. brakes were so tight the wheel wont even move.Imagine my daughter's excitement dwindling down & turning into anger, frustration to find that her long awaited bike came with missing screw and her dad busy watching woom videos to fix the brake. Finally after hours we got the wheel moving. Now to sort the seat issue, we borrowed the clamp from my son's bike (imagine his anger when I did that). We called woom customer service next day, the rep. was very helpful and mentioned they would send the clamp and the screw (bike delivered on june 16th and clamp will be received on June 23). We now keep toggling the clamp from my son's bike and woom bike (son not happy with us borrowing it)The rep. also advised us to take the bike to local shop for adjustment and they would reimburse us. Local shop adjusted brake and put oil in wheel which was squeaking (didnt charge a $). Long story short , paying $549 on a bike, woom should least ensure parts dont fall off the box in transit. The cost of the part may be in pennies but imagine the kid not being able to use the bike for a week after it was delivered.Bike looks good (though we had so far 1 bike chain slip), this is our first woom bike, we were loyal to another brand for size 12, 16, 18 and 20 and never had issues like brake or parts missing.
We got this bike for my daughter who is 7. Initially we wanted a no 4 because my daughter is pettit but we decided to get a no 5 thinking that we are waiting a little before using it. But no way my daughter saw the bike and wanted to ride it. She can’t touch the ground but she managed to lean sideways to safely get on/off of it. As she would say “ best bike ever”. I wished there is a discount when you buy more bikes. I m so glad I got a no 5.
This is our third bike. All of the kids have learned to ride on the 2 then worked their way up.This one has been solid but the gears seem to be making an odd sound on some levels.
I purchased the Woom 5 for my son ( he is rather big) after much research. We received it very quickly after ordering and my husband put it together with ease. My son loves it and is now riding on a daily basis. The bike is so light and he is able to carry it into the house by himself. Although a little pricey, I think it is worth every dollar. I am a believer of you get what you pay for and we definitely received a great bike.
We gave a red WOOM 5 to our grand-daughter was the best bicycle purchase we ever made. She was, and still is, totally in love with riding “Cherry”. Nothing makes grandpa happier than to see the smile on her face and the joy she has riding it!
