Extend your Warranty from 2 to 10 years!
It's our mission to inspire as many children as possible to love riding their bikes. That's why we guarantee the premium quality of every woom bike down to the last detail with innovative technology and long-lasting materials.
We're so confident about the quality of our bikes that we offer our standard 2-year warranty on frames and non-consumable components for all new bikes automatically from the day of purchase.
Members of our woom Riders Club also have the option of extending their warranty on aluminum frames, rigid forks, handlebars, stems and cranks to 10 years for free.
2-year Warranty on New Bikes as Standard
Our standard warranty covers the frame and non-consumable components on new woom bikes automatically for 24 months from the day of purchase in the event of material defects and production faults.
This warranty does not cover signs of normal wear and tear or damage caused by improper use. It applies only to private end consumers.
The warranty does not apply to end consumers using a woom bike for their work, such as at a nursery or playgroup.
The warranty applies internationally with the purchase receipt and can be transferred. It is tied to the product and not a person.
Legal warranty rights remain unaffected.

No further claims can be made except for items expressly covered by this warranty.

The warranty is not extended after it has been transferred. It is still only valid for 2 years from the date on which it was purchased as new.
For customers who purchase a certified pre-owned ("like new") or certified refurbished ("gently used") woom bike, warranty coverages begin upon the day of purchase.

FAQ about the woom 10-year warranty
No, you can't. Only members of the woom Riders' Club have the option of extending the warranty on their woom bike from 2 to 10 years.
You don't have to do anything to continue your 10-year warranty. The launch of the woom Riders' Club doesn't change anything for you – the 10-year warranty on your woom bike is still valid. There's no need for you to join the club now if you don't want to, however, if you do decide to join you can receive free birthday gifts, become a product tester, and more.
All new woom bikes have to be registered within 9 weeks of the purchase date. It's not possible to register them and activate the 10-year warranty after those first 9 weeks have passed.
If you forgot to register your bike, it will still be covered automatically by our standard 2-year warranty.
If the previous owner activated the 10-year warranty and you are a member of the woom Riders' Club, the 10-year warranty can be transferred in line with the terms and conditions that you can find on this page.
Follow these steps:
- Ask the previous owner to give you the proof of purchase and the registration confirmation.
- Take your used woom bike to a bike shop for servicing immediately after you buy it. woom does not cover the costs of servicing.
- Optional: Send the service receipt including the frame number to [email protected] so that we can assign the frame number registered in our system to you and transfer the warranty extension to you.
- Keep the invoice for this servicing (service receipt). You will need it in the event of damage.

In this case, you won't have the option of registering the woom bike for the extended warranty as the second owner.
The standard warranty still applies for 2 years from the date on which the bike was bought as new (as long as you can provide the original purchase receipt).
You will need to provide proof of purchase if you ever want to claim under the warranty or if you want to transfer the warranty to a new owner when you choose to sell your woom bike.
Remember that invoices and receipts are the only documents you can use as proof of purchase. We cannot accept a delivery note, your order history, or a document produced by a private seller.

Have you found something wrong with your woom bike?
If you do find a material defect or production fault despite our commitment to the highest quality standards, you have two options to choose from:
- Did you order your woom bike from the woom online shop or have you bought a used bike? Contact us directly and tell us about the problem. The best way to do this is by filling in the contact form on our website. Select the "Warranty or defect" option in the drop-down menu and send us the frame number, proof of purchase, proof of service (only required for used bikes) and photos or videos clearly showing the fault.
- Did you purchase the bike in store? You can get in touch with your authorized woom dealer (i.e. go back to the dealer you bought your woom bike from in the first place).
If the fault is covered by the 2-year or 10-year warranty, you can count on us or the woom dealer to repair or replace the faulty parts, subject to availability.
