We stand by our work and we understand children

We are woom: We love bicycles and we love to make children happy. It started with a search for the perfect bike; we wanted to know exactly what makes the ideal children's bike. Our goal: build bikes that inspire children and their parents.

Crafted with passion What followed were six incredible and challenging years spent examining and analysing the world of childrens' bikes through constant questioning, experimenting and optimising. The result, which we're super proud of, are six woom bikes for children between one and a half and fourteen years of age. And we still have big plans for the future!

Child-friendly and superlight When it comes to the needs of children, we make no compromises. 90% of our bike parts have been specially developed for children and produced exclusively for woom in order to match the specific needs and anatomies of children.

Weight is a critical factor when it comes to having fun riding a bike. Our ongoing development work has enabled us to build bikes that are 40% lighter than conventional children's bikes. This makes woom bikes the lightest series-production children's bikes in the world!

"We want as many children as possible to love to ride their bike - that is our mission."

Marcus Ihlenfeld, Founder of woom

Learning to ride a bike in less time. If children feel comfortable on a bike, they are much more enthusiastic about riding it. The best proof? On a woom bike, children learn to ride up to three times faster than on other bikes.

Heading off for adventures. Being able to explore the world on their own is a blast for kids. With our bikes, we offer children a fun and safe riding experience thanks to excellent handling and ergonomic design. This means fun and adventure are guaranteed on every ride!

Fair Prices Even if we are passionate about designing the best bikes in the highest possible quality, we still pay close attention to the price. That is why woom bikes are affordable for everyone. Prices are equivalent to those of good conventional children's bikes.
