Unfortunately, the negative sides have piled up too much and I can't recommend the bike. In the original packaging, there were the following defects: 1) the chain was dry and not lubricated 2) Faulting bottom bracket with loops and squeaks - the remedy was the advice from customer service that the chain tension must be regulated 3) 8 in the rear wheel. I only noticed problem 2 after fixing it (because it was too serious). Did I have to fix it myself with a spoke key 4) The chain box was tightened too tight from the factory and the plastic perforation was split in the process. It was still stuck in it for a while, then it came off after about 1000 meters. It was not possible to continue, as one of the two fixing points had now broken. Woom promised me a replacement. All 4 points could have been identified with a two-minute quality check before shipping. Resolved then in maybe 20 minutes. My first bike (woom 2) had a similar problem when new: the pedal arms were sliding on the chain box. There was no adjustment option here. According to customer service, there is quality control. I think I had a very poor quota for both bikes. For the image and the price (which belongs to the image), this list of deficiencies is absurd.
Hi David, Thank you for your open and detailed feedback. We're very sorry that your bike was delivered with this accumulation of defects and that you had a disappointing experience with your previous woom 2. The fact that the chain, chain tension, wheel and chain guard arrived in this condition in no way meets our quality standards. We will forward your feedback directly to our quality management so that we can streamline the control processes during final assembly. I kindly ask you to contact our customer service team so that we can help you with these issues. Greetings Your woom team
