Unusable without support wheels

The woom GO 3 Automagic may technically be a well-thought-out children's bike, but in practice it is simply not useful for many families. The absence of training wheels or suitable adapters is a huge shortcoming. Every child learns differently — some switch over immediately, others need a transition period with training wheels. Why is this decision taken from parents? I expect flexibility, especially from a premium manufacturer. Instead of prescribing the educational approach, woom should give customers the freedom to decide for themselves how to teach their children how to cycle. Automagic cannot be used by us without support wheels — therefore not a recommendation. That's why it went back!

After the wheel and the woom2, we have now upgraded to woom3 with Automagic. The range of the little ones increases noticeably and even on slightly sloping roads, you can do something else by pedaling. Cool innovation!

Dream bikes come in toddler sizes too

My 3.5 year old is loving this. Once he started pedaling, he quickly outgrew his Woom 2. At the same time, he was spinning out quickly on the flat sections and struggling on the uphills. The two speed is the best solution. He now has a higher top speed and the gearing ratio makes it easier for him to climb bigger hills. The quality of the bike is fantastic.

Prefect bikes for kids

We love woom bikes. We have started with a balance woom bike and my boys learned how to pedal by themselves. So we already have 3 bikes (as we already have 3 boys) in our collection and will keep buying this brand since it’s really the best on the market. Recommend! P.S. Many people consider they are expensive but if you plan to have more kids so it becomes a long-term investment in your kids health and fun.

Mostly Great But Brakes Were An Issue

This is a great bike overall. We felt it was the best option for our daughter, who had outgrown the cheaper balance bikes on Amazon. When it first arrived, the brake pads were scraping the rear wheel. Woom’s support team was helpful and arranged for one of our local bike shops to make adjustments so it would work properly. However, both Woom and the shop (Erik’s) overlooked one important detail: the brake pad placement. To our dismay, our six-year-old daughter took her Woom 3 down a hill and wiped out because the rear brake wasn’t gripping well. After inspecting the bike, we discovered the rear brake pad had been set too high. Once we lowered it by about 1/8 to 1/4 inch, her braking ability improved dramatically. In general, we wish the Woom 3 brakes were easier to fine-tune. The screw that secures the cable is so sensitive that even small adjustments can cause the brakes to stop working entirely or stay permanently engaged. We suspect this is because the brake lever doesn’t have much travel, making the “sweet spot” very narrow. That said, our daughter is now a confident rider—and whether we move up to a 24" Guardian or another Woom, this bike has gotten her there.

Simply the Best

We just upgraded our son’s Woom 2 to the Woom Go 3 Automagic and he is beyond thrilled. Setup was a breeze and he was off to the races in no time at all. He loved that the hand brakes were color coded, just like his old bike and everything felt familiar to him. The handgrips were redesigned, which he noticed and loved right away. The only “problem”, with the Automagic he gleefully zips around the neighborhood. His increased speeds mean this mama-to-be cannot keep up

In Love With His New Bike

We recently upgraded our son to the new Woom Go 3 Automagic from his Woom 2. He was beyond excited and loved the color! We promptly set up his bike and he was off to the races. Both parents and kiddo are beyond thrilled and we cannot wait for his next upgrade and for little sis to inherit his former bike. Though I know she would love the new Metallic Turquoise…dilemmas.

Nice bike but hot pink is not true to color

We bought and assembled it today. We had the Woom 2 and now have upgraded to Woom 3 Automagic. My daughter loves that she can go faster, but she wanted a pink bike. We bought the Hot Pink and it’s very red, not a true pink.

Fine Bike - Terrible Customer Service

Terrible! I bought two of these extremely expensive bikes for my two grandchildren along with two Vienna Bells in this purchase. The Vienna Bells do not fit the handle bars. I called and asked what to do. The response was “it should work”. WTF? I asked him to look into it so that this issue on a $1000+ purchase could be addressed. Surely someone at Woom could walk over to a bike and figure why the Vienna Bell doesn’t fit the latest Woom bike design. I haven’t heard anything after 10 days. It gross sloppiness to sell expensive bells that apparently don’t fit the latest expensive bike design or possibly I am doing something wrong and I need guidance. Bear in mind that I have purchased 5 of these expensive for my grandkids as they grow older. If they can’t engineer a simple ringer bell, are my grandkids at risk because of Woom sloppiness with the bike design? My experience with Woom is baffling and infuriating.
