I got the teal woom 4 for my just turned 6 year old daughter. She is cycling since she's 3 on balance bikes and then went through all the woom bikes until this one. Loved them all. I was worried about the gears as people here said that they were too difficult to change. This is not the case at all. She has absolutely zero difficulty navigating the gears. They are very child friendly with images of inclines to flat to help know the gear to use. She loves it. As usual with the woom bikes, all high quality components. The Wheels aren't too thick yet feel very sturdy and have a great grip on them for the kids. I got some handlebar streamers and unfortunately had to drill through the rubber to insert them. This might be something to consider with future builds. Overall, a very very happy 6 year old. Highly recommend.

The front brake had to be adjusted manually. In addition, the hose for the Bowden cable was loose so that the brake did not work properly. The wheels are really expensive and if you not only have to assemble them but also adjust them, that's not okay in my opinion. By the way, the last Woom bike lacked the quick release for the saddle. Because it was a gift and had to be set up quickly, I solved it differently. However, it also addresses the issue of quality again. Another tiny detail that is not included in the evaluation. The sticker on the fork cannot be removed without leaving any residue.
Impressive bike. Handle bar grips comfortable and the lightness of the bike was superb. Most bikes of this quality are heavy.
We have been using Woom since the first wheel and have been very satisfied with every bike. The Woom Go looks great and is well made. The Woom service is also special. We are completely impressed. thanks
As with the last models (2 and 3), I am impressed. The question of whether my six-year-old will be able to cope with a circuit does not arise at all. She missed the green brake lever during the first inspection, but that's no problem either, because she's been used to braking with the right hand since Woom Two. The color (metallic turquoise) is even more beautiful than in the photos - we both think so! As always, the set-up was also problem-free. Two thumbs up times two!
A woom as usual though: - Slight eights in the wheels (this was unexpected at the price) - The circuit must be adjusted by yourself - The brakes must also be adjusted by yourself
At the age of 5, my son only has 16 kg, which is why he needs a lightweight bike. The woom is therefore the best bike for that. Only the gearshift is difficult for him to operate. He understands how it works but does not really get the power to switch it off. But he's also getting stronger and then that shouldn't be a problem anymore. Still the best bike for us!
Great bike, good quality and does what it needs to do. Our daughter is super happy with it!
That 4GO is super high quality. It is lightweight and ideal for our 5 year old. With the simple gear shift, you can also go on a longer tour.
We were impressed by the first Woom Original 3 and 4. These were great. Bought a Woom Go 4 now. The handlebars and gearshift appear to be more ergonomic and smoother. Otherwise, the bike unfortunately looks cheaper and of poorer quality: saddle, grips, rims, brakes - everything looks significantly cheaper in direct comparison with a Woom Original 4. Too bad...
Hi Daniel, Thank you for your honest feedback and for choosing a woom bike again! We are pleased to hear that you were so satisfied with the woom ORIGINAL 3 and 4 and that you see the ergonomics of your new GO 4 as an improvement. We are really sorry that the overall impression of the new bike was not convincing for you compared to the ORIGINAL 4. We absolutely understand that details such as saddles, grips, rims and brakes are important — especially if you've already had positive experiences with woom. Your feedback is very important to us, and we'll share it with our product development team to ensure that we're continuously improving the quality of our products. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to contact our customer service directly at any time Kind regards, Team woom GmbH
My 5 yr old son went through 4 different bikes. This one was light, great handlebar distance, the middle post is safer than others and the brakes were easy to access! My son was afraid to start using the pedals on the last 3 bikes. On this one it took only 1 time: within 5 minutes he started pedaling. The next day he pedaled on his own! Totally recommend!
My daughter recently learned how to ride her bike. She was doing very well on her specialized bike but it is heavy. I wanted to boost her confidence and give her a lighter bike that she could really take off on. The bike itself and parts are of the highest quality, it is light weight too. However my daughter took a huge step back in her ability to balance when we switched her to the Woom 4 bike (same size as her other bike). The main issue is that the tires are very thin. Her old bike had fatter tires. She also doesn’t like how the shifter on the one side gets in her way of gripping the handle, it does take up a lot of room. I thought this bike would be a game changer considering all the hype about the design being ideal for quick easy learning. I think she was better off on her old bike. Design/quality = 5 stars, can your kid learn to ride on another bike just as easily, definitely. I plan to return the smaller bike I got for my younger daughter, it’s just not worth the extra money in my opinion.
the bike is great but your customer service is even better! thank you!
Two days, two days from two years of frustration for my 7 year old, taking training wheels on and off and on again, two days and she was riding like she had been forever. Just buy the bike
