This is a high quality bike that arrives mostly assembled. We bought our first woom a few years ago and my son and daughter have loved it. I love that this bike is lightweight enough that they can maneuver it easily- that alone makes riding a bike less intimidating. This balance bike is perfect for kids just starting. No need for training wheels!
The Woom 1 is too small for a 3 year old child. With the seat at max, the non adjustable handlebar is too low. The bike get too much weight on the handlebar, and get unstable. Children should change to Woom 1+ or Woom 2 without pedals as soon as they can reach the ground with flat foot.

While the woom 1 is designed for ages 1.5 to 3.5, children grow differently—once they outgrow the geometry and can stand flat-footed on a larger bike, it’s time to size up.
