Very disappointed in these gloves. The palm is a thin piece of leather and the upper material is not layered or warm. My child's hands were freezing during a sunny 55F ride in the neighborhood.

I bought these for my 4 and 7 year old (I think they were actually 3 and 6 when I got them) and they are fantastic. They fit pretty slim so they can move and use their fingers, and my younger one wears them ALL the time, not just while biking. They didn't last too long in the snow (which was expected) but very useful for making snowballs for a while. We've done many rainy and/or muddy bike rides and they have held up great!
The gloves were perfect for chilly weather and fit great for my 5 year old daughter (size 6). She immediately put them on making her bike riding excursion more official.
6 year old with small hands, wears size 6. She loves them - warm for our rides of 10 minutes at 32f. She loves looking at all of the designs on the grips. I’ll buy the bigger size when she needs them!
My son and I love Woom products and the attention to design details. As we were gearing for cold season in New England, we proactively searched for Woom winter gloves, and bingo the limited edition was here! On a sunny, not windy but coldish (38F) day, we opted to go to school by bike with our new gloves. Within 6 minutes of riding, my son’s fingers were frozen (kids hold their handlebars with both hands and have no chance to clap to let blood flow) and had to catch the bus... So 3 stars because... Well, those may be good for winter in Austin, TX, but in Boston we need the fur. (Gibt’s kein kaltes Wetter in Österreich Ga?). I would pay extra for the fur. These gloves are not any better insulated than cheap wool gloves.
It is nearly impossible to find cold weather bike gloves for the preschool crowd--we went through six different pairs of various mittens/gloves last year but all failed because none of them gave our newly-turned 4 year old enough dexterity to operate his brake levers. Enter the Woom Winter Glove, size 5--problem solved! We've already gotten him a size 6 for this year and passed the 5s down to his 2 year old younger brother.
We love our Woom bikes (1 & 2) and now we love our Woom gloves! The regular gloves were the first gloves my 2 year old was able to put on by himself without assistance (we have 2 pairs of those). When I saw the winter ones, I just couldn’t resist and bought a pair. They are awesome for our Pacific Northwest weather and he is able to put these on by himself as well. We use these on hikes and outings without the bike as well. Used the sizing tool provided and size 5 was a perfect fit with just enough room to grow. Excellent quality and superior customer service. Woom is the best.
