FAQ
The woom EXPLORE is a sporty all-rounder, designed for children. It's made to ride on tarmac and easy off-road terrain, such as gravel roads and dirt tracks in the forest. It is not suitable for MTB trails or bike park riding. Please refer to the instructions for more information on this.
You can kit out the woom EXPLORE with the following equipment:
- VIENNA BELL and BING Bell
- SNAP Click-on Mudguards (pick the relevant size for your bike)
- LEGGIE Kickstand (pick the relevant size for your bike)
- GLUG Stainless Steel Bottle (for use with or without mudguards)
You'll find all of these items, as well as other compatible gear, in our online shop.
If you need to replace any parts due to wear and tear, you'll find a wide selection of original parts in our spare parts shop including grips, brake pads and much more. Chip in the paint? We've also got touch-up paint in all colors.
When ordering accessories or spare parts, make sure you pick the correct size.
On the bottom and top of the downtube there are two pairs of threaded mounts so that you can install the side-clip mount for the GLUG Stainless Steel Bottle on your preferred side. The two threaded mounts on the underside of the chain stays are designed for the LEGGIE Kickstand. To install the SNAP Click-On Mudguards there are mounts on the underside of the fork crown and on the seat stays/seat tube area as well as on the axle nuts. In addition, there are a total of four threaded mounts on the seat stays, designed for mounting the PICKUP Rack: two near the seat tube and two near the rear wheel axle.
The left pedals on our bikes have a left-hand thread and therefore have to be screwed in an anti-clockwise direction.
Brakes are really important on a bike when it comes to safety. For anyone feeling unsure or inexperienced when carrying out bike repairs and maintenance, we recommend asking a specialist to sort out any potential issues with your brakes.
Do you have some experience with bike mechanics and often fix things on your own bike? If so, you'll be able to resolve minor issues with the brakes.
In this video, we explain how to replace the brake pads, adjust the brake calipers and set up the brake levers correctly for your child.
You can begin by consulting the bike's instructions, where it explains how the gears work and shows you how to readjust the derailleur if your gears are being noisy or if the bike is struggling to change gear.
They can be complex, so if you don't have much experience with bike mechanics, then we recommending asking a specialist to sort out any gear problems.

So small, yet so loud. Easy to reach with the thumb while keeping the hands safely on the grips. The VIENNA bell is like a high-quality brass instrument with its vibrant sound that can be heard clearly, even in a noisy environment. Thanks to the use of high-quality brass, a fine patina will develop over the course of time on the surface of the metal part.
