PICKUP Rack

Unfortunately, the Toplight that I wanted to install later does not fit because the luggage rack is not wide enough. This would have had to be solved differently so that standard rear lights could be installed instead of the spotlight. Which rear light with batteries does Woom recommend? If possible, I would even have given 0 stars as it is really easy to solve.

The carrier is very easy to assemble! It looks great and is manufactured to a high quality.

The luggage rack is very quick and easy to install and also looks very robust. However, the elastic band to clamp the luggage is very poor! When loading the bike, even if you only release one side of the strap, the other side comes off directly, which is very bad, especially for children who may not check both sides again and again, as the luggage may then come loose along the way. Even worse, however, is that the elastic band wears out after just a short time. I had to cut the luggage strap on my daughter's bike out of the shaft of the rear wheel because the strap had come loose WITHOUT luggage, despite previous inspection by me and wrapped around the axle of the rear wheel while driving. In addition to the fact that the luggage rack is currently no longer usable as a result, this poses a very high safety risk, so I cannot recommend the luggage rack in its current form.

Fits great and functions exactly as expected. Love it.

We just got my son a Woom 4 from his Woom 3 and I scooped this rack up since we had the Woom rack on his Woom3 and he loved it. The quality is still there but I'm really super disappointed that this doesn't come with the wood platform that the racks used to include. It just seemed far for functional prior. I'm still giving this 4 stars because I knew that going into the purchase but I'm just disappointed that it's not as nice as the Woom rack we had prior.

I've had one of these for a Woom 3 and 4. It does what it is supposed to. With both bikes it can carry a small Ortlieb pannier (front roller), although the Woom 3 is just barely bike enough. On the Woom 3, I eventually took off the wood plank and bolted on a Flambeau "lil' brute" fishing tackle/toolbox which has worked awesomely, kind of like a "top box" for a motorcycle. The kid loves to open and close it and fill it with junk mail, leaves, and other treasures. Can't use panniers anymore like that, but worth the tradeoff since it's kid-operable.
