Happy New Colors: woom unveils two brand new color schemes

Vienna, 4 March 2024: woom, the international manufacturer of bikes for children and teenagers, is making cycling even more fun this spring by releasing its bestselling woom ORIGINAL range in two brand new colors. The woom ORIGINAL bikes for children aged 1.5 to 8 years (bike sizes 1 to 4) are now available in a vibrant LIZARD LIME and bold FLAME ORANGE from both the woom online shop and specialist retailers.

To mark the start of this year's cycling season, woom is launching its bestselling ORIGINAL bikes – long regarded as the company's signature product range – in two brand new colors. Available now, the new LIZARD LIME and FLAME ORANGE color schemes extend the existing range of woom bike colors, including woom red, sky blue, and purple haze, and make cycling even more fun for children aged 1.5 to 8 years.

• The woom ORIGINAL in sizes 1 to 4 is now available in two brand new colors: lizard lime and flame orange.
• A great all-rounder, the woom ORIGINAL comes in 6 different sizes for children and teens aged 1.5 to 14 years.
• Central to the design is the superlight aluminum frame, which ensures woom bikes are up to 40% lighter than other children’s bikes on the market.
• Excellent handling and child-specific ergonomics result in a safe ride. Children have fun as they intuitively pick up on the key motor skills they need to ride a bike.
• The ergonomically shaped grips feature a narrow central section for grip and an over-sized outer edge to protect children from serious injury should they fall onto the handlebars. They can also be unscrewed, making them easier to clean.
• The ergonomically shaped brake levers are specifically designed for small hands and can be operated with minimal force. The all-important rear brake is easily identified by young children thanks to its eye-catching green color. This distinctive design aims to eliminate mix-ups and therefore reduce the risk of injury. 
• The steering limiter between the fork and frame on the smaller models boosts safety by preventing crashes caused by overturning the handlebars.
• Whether on tarmac, gravel, or dirt, the woom low-resistance tires guarantee maximum grip on any surface – on both straights and corners and in all weather conditions. The reflective stripe on the tires' sidewall also ensures optimum visibility even in low-light conditions.
