On the bottom and top of the down tube there are two pairs of threaded holes so that you can install the side-clip mount for the GLUG Stainless Steel Bottle on your preferred side. The two threaded holes on the underside of the chain stays are designed for the LEGGIE Kickstand. To install the SNAP Click-On Mudguards there are mounts on the underside of the fork crown and on the seat stays/seat tube area as well as on the axle nuts. In addition, there are two threaded holes near the rear wheel axle and on either side of the seat tube, designed for mounting the PICKUP Rack.
It's easy to stop the rubbing noise if it occurs. On a new bike, the brake cable is still pretty tight. It will stretch by itself after applying the brakes a few times. If the brakes are too tight, you can easily loosen the tension by turning the adjustment barrel on the brake lever. This will open up the brakes. If only one brake pad is rubbing, you can adjust the spring tension on the brake caliper. In this video, our mechanic Tim explains exactly what you need to do to adjust the brakes correctly.
The left pedals on our bikes have a left-hand thread and therefore have to be screwed in an anti-clockwise direction.
Gears are extremely complex. For those who don't have much experience of bike repairs and maintenance, we recommend asking a specialist to sort out any shifting issues.
If you have some experience of bike mechanics, you can have a go at resolving the issues you are having with the gears yourself. In this video, our mechanic Tim takes you through how the gears work and shows you how to readjust the derailleur and cable tension if the gears on your bike are being noisy or if your bike is struggling to change gear.
