Vienna/Klosterneuburg, 21/02/2024: Johannes Kisslinger has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) at woom. In his new role, Kisslinger is responsible for production, supply chain management, procurement and logistics, quality management, product compliance and testing, and IT for the international manufacturer of bikes for children and teenagers. Kisslinger has joined the woom management team headed up by woom CEO Paul Fattinger.

With an impressive career spanning multiple global businesses behind him, Salzburg-born Johannes Kisslinger (43) brings extensive international experience and a proven track record in operations management with him to the role. Before joining the team at woom, he was responsible for production, supply chain, procurement,

maintenance, facilities and IT as the COO of Schiebel, a company in Vienna specializing in high-tech products and applications.

Prior to that, Kisslinger spent many years working in various leadership positions around the world for the industrial company Hoerbiger, including Supply Chain Director in China and Vice President of Operations for the Midwest in the USA.

"I'm so excited to have this chance to apply my global experience in operations management to a love brand like woom. I'm struggling to think of a more magical and meaningful mission than changing the face of the bike market for future generations to come with our special products," says Kisslinger, who is delighted to have taken on his new role at woom.

"With his extensive expertise and commitment to delivering excellence, Johannes Kisslinger is going to be instrumental in the ongoing internationalization of woom. About woom

woom is an international manufacturer of bikes for children and teenagers with its headquarters in Klosterneuburg, just outside of Vienna. The Austria-based company was founded in 2013 by two bike-loving fathers, Christian Bezdeka and Marcus Ihlenfeld, in a garage in Vienna. After searching the market in vain for suitable bikes for their own children, they decided to develop and build their own. Focusing on a low weight, timeless designs, high-quality components and child-specific geometry, woom bikes are setting new standards for premium children's bikes. In just a few years, woom went from a little-known brand to the market leader in Austria. Today, woom is known across the world. In more than 30 countries – including the USA – you'll see kids and teens riding woom bikes.
