Ratings & Reviews
My son, 4 years old, loves his woom bike He now has the Automagic (woom 3, before that woom 2) and is already riding proud routes with it. The wheels are so light, visually a total eye-catcher and the colors are so beautiful I would never buy another bike again, even though they are not quite cheap. But worth every cent! Since there are two boys, the little one can also use them later Very big recommendation
This bike exceeded our expectations. With her previous bike, our daughter was only able to travel short distances and quickly lost pleasure in it. Since we have the Woom, everything has changed: She rides for hours with a smile on her face and enthusiastically discovers the world on two wheels. Together, we experience the best small and big adventures — over dirt roads, through forests and along sunny roads. Bicycles have now become an integral part of our family and should not be missed on any vacation. It gives freedom, joy and unforgettable moments. For us, it is much more than just a bike — it is the key to many wonderful memories. Thank you
Our son learned to drive quickly and easily and has a lot of fun with it
Learn how to ride a bike successfully in just a few days. Switching from the Woom balance bike was easy. We also find the weight a great advantage, easy to carry on the bicycle trailer when the child runs out of breath
Great light bike to learn how to ride. My daughter started riding in really short time and I think the only thing stopping her from learning quicker was me. Bike is light, well balanced and easy to use- brake handles are perfect for small hands.
My twins learned to ride their bikes within one afternoon (they developed a good sense of balance from riding the balance bike beforehand) and are still - like their parents - enthusiastic cyclists. Just about a month after they were in the saddle for the first time, they successfully completed their first kiddical mass with a distance of approx. 8 km. The investment has definitely paid off for us and we can recommend GO 2 with a clear conscience.
A nice bike and ideal for those first attempts. My son loves his bike and proudly rides it to kindergarten every morning. Compared to other bikes, the bike is significantly lighter and can therefore be pushed and driven by yourself right from the start.
When she received the bike for her birthday, my daughter would have loved to take it with her to bed to sleep. She has been riding it every day since she got it and we as parents are extremely impressed how light and smooth the bike is. You can't make a better choice.
When she was 3 years old, our daughter got a bike for 1/3 of the price. Even 11 months later, she couldn't ride on it. The GO 2 arrived today. It was fun to assemble. It's all perfect. After 2-3 pushes, she is now doing her rounds alone. Looking at the reviews before buying was a bit confusing. There, a problem with the backpedal brake is sometimes mentioned. Our bike freewheels and that's a good thing. It wasn't until later that I noticed that the entry came from a country where the bikes were apparently being sold with resignation. Thank you very much for the great bike
Directly from the Woom balance to the Woom pedal and picked it up the first day! Improved on day 2 and 3 as confidence was built. Wonderful experience!
We had another bike from our son before. That bike was much heavier. We then opted for a woom for our daughter. Our daughter climbed up and was able to ride a bike within 15 minutes. Super ergonomic and easy to handle
My boy went straight from running bike to Woom 2. It only took him two days to learn how to ride a bike!
The bike is not tuned. The brakes were tied to the brake wire too close and the breaks were applied by default, had to take to REI to get them loose. Freewheel and Coaster wheel have different nuts/bolts configuration making them inconsistent. Shameful you need different tools to fix them. The seat doesn’t come out, but the videos say it does. Why a German manual and too much detail where nothing matches woom 2 configuration. Make it simple. German Bike, Poor Quality Delivered, I had high expectations. Get ready to shell out $100 extra to tune the bike.
Thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear your experience with getting the freewheel installed was difficult. We do recommend the coaster to freewheel swap be completed by a local bike shop or REI as there are some tricky parts that can prove frustrating and it does require a few different tools. The saddle is adjustable using the quick release seatpost clamp and can be lowered and raised as the fit needs. The assembly manual does include different languages as we sell our product in a number of countries. Please feel encouraged to get in touch with our Customer Experience team. We are happy to lend a hand.
The bike is marketed as some premium product for new riders, but the default coaster brake wheel it comes with makes it nearly unusable for a child actually learning to pedal. At almost $500 after tax and shipping, it is pretty outrageous you then need to spend even more money and time purchasing and installing a separate “freewheel” kit just to make the bike functional. Without the freewheel, my kid (and same with all his friends who have the same bike) constantly trigger the brake when trying to push the pedals, leading to constant falls/unexpected braking and ending up completely discouraged. It feels like a shady cash grab to need an additional upgrade on an already expensive children’s bike to make it usable and salvage your kid’s interest in learning to ride. I was so disappointed the day we gifted this to our kid.
