If your child plans on cycling on public roads and streets, their bike may need to meet certain standard requirements before it can be considered legal in your country of residence. In many countries, bikes must be equipped with a bike bell, front and rear lights, and wide-angle Z reflectors. As rules for cyclists and their equipment vary from country to country, find out about the regulations applicable to riding a woom bike in road traffic in your country or region, particularly regarding the use of lights, reflectors and other obligatory safety equipment.
Innovative frame
The superlight aluminum frame is the heart of the bike, ensuring a fun and safe riding experience. Its cleverly designed age-specific geometry offers good control over the bike and gives young riders maximum safety while exploring new horizons.
Child-specific hand brakes
The two V-brakes are easy to operate thanks to their ergonomically adapted brake levers with reach adjustability, which makes them perfectly suited to children's hands. They also require minimal force to bring the bike safely to a stop.
Individually adjustable stem
With the flexibility of the adjustable stem, you can change not only the height of the bike but also its length to suit the rider. This means the bike grows with your child to ensure an optimal riding position at all times.
Please note that as we work with various suppliers, the actual stem on your woom bike may vary slightly from the images shown.
Cranks with a narrow Q-factor
The crank length and distance between the pedals have been ergonomically adapted to fit children's bodies. This results in an optimum stance and natural movements. There's no risk of your child getting their trouser leg caught thanks to the chainguard ring.
Twist shifter for intuitive shifting
The easy-to-operate microSHIFT twist shifter requires minimal hand strength, enabling young riders to shift intuitively through the seven gears.
Handy quick-release skewer
The quick-release mechanism on the front wheel axle makes fast and easy work of dismounting and mounting the front wheel, so you can transport your child's bike by car with no trouble at all.
Ergonomically formed saddle
The saddle is one of the most important points of contact between the child and the bike. It significantly affects the feeling when riding. That's why our saddle is designed to be a perfect fit for the pelvis of children in this age group and optimized for a slightly stretched-out riding position. Perfect for getting the most out of their ride!
Please note that as we work with various suppliers, the actual saddle on your woom bike may vary slightly from the images shown.
Practical quick-release seatpost clamp
The quick-release seatpost clamp offers a simple, quick and tool-free way to adjust the saddle height. It's even easy enough to be operated by children. On your pedals, get set, go!
All-round capable tires
Tires have a major influence on how a bike handles. That's why we've chosen tires that can be used for a broad variety of terrain for our bikes. Whether your child is riding on tarmac, gravel or dirt, our lightweight tires will ensure maximum grip in any weather and on any surface, whether in a straight line or cornering.
Seven gears
The precise and easy-to-use gearing makes riding more fun and enables your child to go on longer rides without feeling overwhelmed. The microSHIFT derailleur has seven gears in a wide range 11–28T cassette combined with a 28T chainring up front.
