What's in the box?

Our woom bikes don't come with any additional accessories. You need to add optional extras like kickstands and mudguards on our equipment page.

If your child plans on cycling on public roads and streets, their bike may need to meet certain standard requirements before it can be considered legal in your country of residence. In many countries, bikes must be equipped with a bike bell, front and rear lights, and wide-angle Z reflectors. As rules for cyclists and their equipment vary from country to country, find out about the regulations applicable to riding a woom bike in road traffic in your country or region, particularly regarding the use of lights, reflectors and other obligatory safety equipment.

Features & Highlights

Superlight frame

The superlight aluminum frame has capable off-road geometry with a long wheelbase and slack steering angle for improved stability and smooth, responsive handling. Extra confidence comes from the kink in the top tube, which makes it easy to dismount quickly in any situation.

Durable carbon fork

Superlight and super stylish – the carbon fork balances maximum stability with minimum weight. Multidirectional carbon fibers ensure plenty of torsional strength when steering and braking. That makes the bike strong and stable even on the roughest terrain.

Ergonomic contact points

The age-appropriate MTB saddle and ergonomically profiled handlebar grips add comfort, while the hard-wearing platform pedals with metal pins provide the necessary grip for all-terrain riding.

Precise shifting

The precise and intuitive SRAM X5 rear derailleur has nine gears and a wide gear range thanks to the 28-tooth chainring up front and an 11–34 cassette at the rear. The easy-to-operate trigger shifter operates smoothly and reliably to make light work for children’s thumbs.

Reliable disc brakes

Easy-to-modulate disc brakes are teamed with child-specific, reach-adjustable brake levers to provide maximum stopping power and control in every situation including steep slopes and wet conditions.

Grippy tubeless-ready MTB tires

High-quality Schwalbe mountain bike tires combine low rolling resistance with superior grip and proven durability. With Tubeless Easy technology and tubeless-ready rims, it’s a straightforward transition to go tubeless and benefit from added comfort and grip.

Lightweight flip-flop stem

Specially developed from forged aluminum, the stem pairs the ultimate stiffness with the lowest possible weight. Thanks to its flip-flop design, there’s the option to raise the height of the bars simply by inverting it.

Ratings & Reviews

I want to give props to Woom bikes and the company in general. I love Woom! They are an amazing value and great customer service. We had a Woom Off 4 that both our girls rode until they were too tall. I purchased it for ~$700 in 2020, and we sold it in 2025 for $450. I'm sure it is still being ridden on the Socal flow trails today. We purchased a Woom 5 Off Air for $880 in 2021, and both girls used that until a couple weeks ago when they upgraded to 27.5" wheels. Another awesome bike that had them riding trails around the western US. I just sold that for $700. These bikes maintain their value better than any I've seen. We also have a Woom helmet, and the harness system broke– Woom immediately sent out a replacement harness (for free!) and we'll get another couple years with this helmet. I couldn't be happier with the quality and customer service. The girl's new (bigger) bikes are WAY heavier than the Woom. I highly recommend a Woom investment to anyone with kids interested in biking. You won't be disappointed!

Stellar machine

My kids have been riding Woom originals from the size 2 on up and they’ve been more than capable on all dirt and gravel paths, but this OFF 5 is something else! Even with the carbon fork, my 9 y/o did a 10 mile mtb race last summer and it was awesome!
