The next-generation woom OFF 5 is a ruggedly capable, superlight mountain bike for kids aged seven and upwards with growing bodies and developing skills. Its lightweight build means it climbs with ease, while hydraulic disc brakes are teamed with child-specific brake levers and ergonomically profiled grips for extreme stopping power and zero finger fatigue on descents.

The superlight aluminum frame has capable off-road geometry with a long wheelbase and slack steering angle for improved stability and smooth, responsive handling. Extra confidence comes from the kink in the top tube, which makes it easy to dismount quickly in any situation.

The precise and intuitive SRAM X5 rear derailleur has nine gears and a wide gear range thanks to the 28-tooth chainring up front and an 11–34 cassette at the rear. The easy-to-operate trigger shifter operates smoothly and reliably to make light work for children’s thumbs.

My kids have been riding Woom originals from the size 2 on up and they’ve been more than capable on all dirt and gravel paths, but this OFF 5 is something else! Even with the carbon fork, my 9 y/o did a 10 mile mtb race last summer and it was awesome!
