Innovative frame
The superlight aluminum frame is the heart of the balance bike, ensuring a fun and safe riding experience. Its geometry has been specifically designed for toddlers, with a low entry making it easy for even the youngest of riders to hop on and roll away. Thanks to the long seatpost and open seat tube the bike can be adjusted over a broad range to accommodate your growing child.
Handy footrest
Our SURFBOARD footrest made from premium maple plywood allows your child to put up their feet and feel like they're surfing the clouds on the back of their balance bike. Thanks to the ergonomically optimized design, your child has plenty of legroom to run and glide. The grip tape surface prevents unscripted slips from occurring. This is riding a balance bike at its best!
Child-specific hand brakes
Your child will immediately be able to spot the all-important rear brake – it's bright green! This color code system prevents them from mixing up the brakes, making for a safer ride. The specially designed brake lever is easy for small hands to operate and requires little strength to bring the bike to a safe stop. This, along with the ergonomic grips, makes braking child's play.
Knee-friendly stem
Our stem ensures a safe and lightweight connection between the handlebars and the headset. The sleek, rounded design, integrated handlebar clamp and recessed clamp bolts make it truly knee-friendly.
Flexible steering limiter
Our specially developed steering limiter is a vital safety feature. It prevents the handlebars from overturning and helps children ride straight, which reduces the risk of accidents.
Ergonomically formed saddle
The saddle is one of the most important points of contact between the child and the bike. It significantly affects the feeling when riding. That's why our saddle is designed to be a perfect fit for the pelvis of children in this age group and optimized for an upright riding position. Its scooped design is engineered to provide continuous optimal support for your child. In short, these features make our saddle the ultimate all-rounder for every position – whether your child is sitting, standing or cruising at speed.
Please note that as we work with various suppliers, the actual saddle on your woom bike may vary slightly from the images shown.
All-round capable tires
Tires have a major influence on how a bike handles. That's why we've chosen high-quality, lightweight and grippy tires with low rolling resistance for the woom ORIGINAL 1 PLUS. This ensures smooth running and good grip whatever the terrain – whether paved, gravel or dirt roads. The reflective stripe on the tires' sidewall also ensures optimum visibility even in low-light conditions.
Smartly engineered wheels
A bike needs really good wheels to get rolling. So that's exactly what we've given our bikes. What makes a woom wheel so unique is the sum of its parts: from the smooth-rolling hubs to the high-quality stainless steel spokes and our exclusive SOOPA DOOPA HOOPS rims. The extra narrow hub on the rear wheel ensures masses of leg clearance while riding.
