My child is enjoying riding this bike, and the automagic gear shifting feature is unique to woom. But compared to our woom 1 & 2 bought several years back, it feels like the quality has gone downhill somewhat. Handlebar grips much less comfortable. Just little pieces here and there it all seems to be corners cut. Can't say much about how the mechanics of the bike will hold up, but time will tell. I'm feeling much less likely to fork over the cost for a woom for the next bike, given that there is a lot of competition in the kid bike space these days and I think we probably find something nicer at the level 4 size for comparable price.

Our 4 year old son took to his new bike immediately. It's very well made and has been thoughtfully put together. Assembly of the bike itself was very simple.
This is our second Woom (our balance bike being a hand-me-down Strider before going directly to pedal). Our son is petite but incredibly adept with bikes, so Woom has felt like a great option both for its design and weight. With the Woom 3 automatic, we felt he could better reach his physical potential despite height limits meaning he’s not yet able to do 20” multi-speed options. I can’t say for sure that it made a difference to have a two-speed bike, but we have zero complaints. Just like our Woom 2, the brakes have worked seamlessly, the frame has withstood quite a beating, and its maneuverability lets him do tricks whenever he wants. We’ve been very happy with both our Woom purchases.
My daughter learned to bike same day. This is excellently built, very lightweight. Woom customer service is great. Even in winter my daughter wants to ride her bike. P.S. Go with Automagic, its very subtle but makes huge difference in speed.
My 3.5-year-old son really wanted “a big boy bike just like mommy and daddy.” I’d heard great things about WOOM bikes and did my research. They’re in high demand, so you can easily resell them later with just a small discount. We decided to get one, and we’re very pleased with it- after just one hour of practice, he was riding completely on his own. Worth every penny.
What nice bikes. My children have been cycling on the Woom2 since they were two years old and now on the Wool3. Lightweight and therefore easy to handle for the little ones.
Our grandson has been on a balance bike since about 18 months. He just got a Woom 3 Automagic. First try and he’s off and pedaling. He loves it and is quickly learning to use the brakes. No more torn up shoes from dragging his toes.
I give it a full 5 out of 5 stars Quality/Workmanship Optics/metallic paint Function/Technology Handling/Control for kids Delivery status/Description of final assembly So we're just absolutely thrilled. Real quality bike.
Our son went from Woom go 2 to 3 automagic and was able to pedal away by himself after 15min. Great bikes for kids!
Our 4-year-old daughter received a bicycle as a gift for her birthday. Unfortunately, it was quite heavy, so she could barely turn the pedals and quickly lost pleasure — even though she really wanted to ride a bike. After some research on the Internet, I became aware of Woom and we opted for Woom 3. As soon as we were outside, she learned to ride a bike without training wheels in just 30 minutes. I can't remember a day when I was more proud of her.
The woom GO 3 Automagic may technically be a well-thought-out children's bike, but in practice it is simply not useful for many families. The absence of training wheels or suitable adapters is a huge shortcoming. Every child learns differently — some switch over immediately, others need a transition period with training wheels. Why is this decision taken from parents? I expect flexibility, especially from a premium manufacturer. Instead of prescribing the educational approach, woom should give customers the freedom to decide for themselves how to teach their children how to cycle. Automagic cannot be used by us without support wheels — therefore not a recommendation. That's why it went back!
Hi Mikail, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experiences with the woom ORIGINAL 3 Automagic. We're sorry that the bike didn't work for you and that you had to return it. We know that every child learns differently — some switch directly from a balance bike to a bike, others need more time and safety, for example with training wheels. The fact that we do not offer training wheels or adapters for this model is a conscious decision: Our wheels are designed so that children learn to ride independently and with real balance as quickly as possible. But we are also aware that this approach is not right for every family or child. And that's exactly why we really appreciate your honest feedback. It helps us to question and further develop our products and decisions over and over again. It's a pity that we couldn't convince you this time — we still hope that you'll soon find the right bike that you enjoy. Your woom team
After the wheel and the woom2, we have now upgraded to woom3 with Automagic. The range of the little ones increases noticeably and even on slightly sloping roads, you can do something else by pedaling. Cool innovation!
We live in a hilly neighborhood and this bike allows our small 6-year old to keep up with her friends and get up all the hills. We all love it so much!
My 3.5 year old is loving this. Once he started pedaling, he quickly outgrew his Woom 2. At the same time, he was spinning out quickly on the flat sections and struggling on the uphills. The two speed is the best solution. He now has a higher top speed and the gearing ratio makes it easier for him to climb bigger hills. The quality of the bike is fantastic.
We love woom bikes. We have started with a balance woom bike and my boys learned how to pedal by themselves. So we already have 3 bikes (as we already have 3 boys) in our collection and will keep buying this brand since it’s really the best on the market. Recommend! P.S. Many people consider they are expensive but if you plan to have more kids so it becomes a long-term investment in your kids health and fun.
