Quick delivery easy assembly (down to the bell) My son sat on it and drove off Within 10 minutes he learned to ride a bike without support.

The bike is super lightweight and very easy to handle. My child felt confident riding it from the very first day.

I waited a year to write this review to give problems a chance to develop. Tldr: though the price is steep, it was absolutely worth it. My daughter loves it and we've done hundreds of miles now. I appreciate how light the bike is and the automagic hub allows my daughter to climb hills even my wife struggles with. I've recommended this bike to all parents from my daughter's daycare. The only 2 nits I have to pick are that the chain guard rubs slightly against the chainring and the automagic hub sometimes struggles with downshifting from 2nd to 1st - by the time it downshifts starting up a steep hill, we've already had to stop and push. I also wish the automagic hub was sold separately so non-automagic woom models could be retrofitted with it.

DISAPPOINTMENT despite WOOM

Our new woom GO 3 Automagic was purchased in December 2025 as a necessary successor to a great woom GO 2 (purchase 9/2024). When it was unpacked for Christmas, the children's eyes lit up. The father's eyes briefly too, only to realize that things seemed different here. And that's right, the handlebar grips and the saddle are both smaller and of simpler quality (see comparison images woom 2. /. woom 3 i.d. attached). The all-round chain guard is also missing compared to the previous woom 3 model. This could be due to the Automagic circuit. But this is illogical with this built-in hub gear. I really don't understand the logic bigger child = smaller grips and smaller saddle. I can only speculate that there are commercial reasons. None of this fits the self-image and price expectation of a manufacturer who is interested in quality and very child-friendly bikes. As a result, I will probably replace the inferior handles between the wheels. I'm still unsure about the saddle. QUESTION to WOOM: Is the saddle of my woom 2 compatible with my new woom 3? OTHERWISE: I unfortunately overlooked these 3 disappointing points myself when ordering online. The only thing that helps is to keep your eyes open next time. My son is still satisfied and can apparently live with the parts that are too small. My BUYING TIP: Look out for the higher-quality predecessor models on the used bike market, if it doesn't have to be woom Automagic.

Hi Michael, Thanks for your detailed feedback. We understand that the comparison raises questions. By way of classification: The “woom 2” you mentioned is not a predecessor model of the woom GO 3, but the former woom ORIGINAL. The woom GO line is a new model concept. The handles, saddle and chain guard have been re-tuned in the woom GO 3 Automagic. The partially open chain guard is a deliberate design decision: In the past, chains were sharpened or noises were generated more frequently. Yes, the woom ORIGINAL 2 saddle is technically compatible with the woom, but a replacement is not recommended as the seatpost is shorter, which may impair the correct leg extension. It's a pity that a few points disappointed you — we're all the more pleased that your son still enjoys his new bike. Thanks for your honest feedback Your WOOM team

Overall, great bike, light weight, kid loves it, best in class customer service.. Some downsides: comparing to my woom 2 from 2021, looks less some cost cutting was done.. woom emblem is just a woom decal now, grips are same size but different, chainguard is just the top half. out of the box, rear brakes were rubbing the rim and could not spin freely. took 30min to learn and adjust (they do offer support through 3rd party stores). also the front reflector is rubber strap on so gets tilted all the time. rear reflector was too big and couldn't tighten to seat post (apparently there's a shim but i didn't see it). customer service immediately send me replacements and thankfully they are the old style like my 2021 woom 2 and tighten down securely.

Unique automagic feature, lower quality than previous bikes

My child is enjoying riding this bike, and the automagic gear shifting feature is unique to woom. But compared to our woom 1 & 2 bought several years back, it feels like the quality has gone downhill somewhat. Handlebar grips much less comfortable. Just little pieces here and there it all seems to be corners cut. Can't say much about how the mechanics of the bike will hold up, but time will tell. I'm feeling much less likely to fork over the cost for a woom for the next bike, given that there is a lot of competition in the kid bike space these days and I think we probably find something nicer at the level 4 size for comparable price.

Happy little biker

Our 4 year old son took to his new bike immediately. It's very well made and has been thoughtfully put together. Assembly of the bike itself was very simple.

This is our second Woom (our balance bike being a hand-me-down Strider before going directly to pedal). Our son is petite but incredibly adept with bikes, so Woom has felt like a great option both for its design and weight. With the Woom 3 automatic, we felt he could better reach his physical potential despite height limits meaning he’s not yet able to do 20” multi-speed options. I can’t say for sure that it made a difference to have a two-speed bike, but we have zero complaints. Just like our Woom 2, the brakes have worked seamlessly, the frame has withstood quite a beating, and its maneuverability lets him do tricks whenever he wants. We’ve been very happy with both our Woom purchases.

Excellent quality lightweight bike

My daughter learned to bike same day. This is excellently built, very lightweight. Woom customer service is great. Even in winter my daughter wants to ride her bike. P.S. Go with Automagic, its very subtle but makes huge difference in speed.

My 3.5-year-old son really wanted “a big boy bike just like mommy and daddy.” I’d heard great things about WOOM bikes and did my research. They’re in high demand, so you can easily resell them later with just a small discount. We decided to get one, and we’re very pleased with it- after just one hour of practice, he was riding completely on his own. Worth every penny.

What nice bikes. My children have been cycling on the Woom2 since they were two years old and now on the Wool3. Lightweight and therefore easy to handle for the little ones.

Balance bike to Woom 3 and he’s off and pedaling

Our grandson has been on a balance bike since about 18 months. He just got a Woom 3 Automagic. First try and he’s off and pedaling. He loves it and is quickly learning to use the brakes. No more torn up shoes from dragging his toes.
