The first-generation woom OFF 6 (model year 2021) is a superlight and durable mountain bike for kids aged 10 and older to boss every trail. Tough terrain is no longer a ride-stopping obstacle but instead a fun challenge. The special narrow-wide chainring ensures that the chain stays in place no matter how rough things get. This is when a love of cycling becomes a passion for mountain biking.

The superlight aluminum frame with butted hydroformed tubes has impeccable MTB genes with modern geometry, a long wheelbase and a slack head tube angle. The kink in the top tube makes it easy to dismount quickly in any situation.

woom OFF Carbon Fork

Superlight and super stylish – the carbon fork offers maximum stability with minimum weight. Multidirectional carbon fibers ensure plenty of torsional strength when steering and braking. That makes the bike strong and stable even on the roughest terrain.

Brakes

The easy-to-modulate disc brakes ally with the special brake levers designed for children's hands to increase safety and control in all situations, including on rough terrain and in wet conditions.

woom Stem

Specially developed from forged aluminum, the stem pairs the ultimate stiffness with the lowest possible weight.

Thanks to its flip-flop design, there’s the option to raise the height of the bars simply by inverting it.

woom Saddle

The saddle is one of the most important points of contact between the child and the bike. It significantly affects the feeling when riding. That is why we have designed our saddle to fit the pelvis of children and give them a slightly stretched-out riding position. Perfect for getting the most out of their ride!

During a redesign of our products, the security seatpost clamp shown here was replaced with a quick-release seatpost clamp. The result: quick and easy saddle height adjustments – no tools required.

The geometry of the bike is great, very light. Drivetrain crisp and precise, just SRAM. As the others have already judged, the brakes are complete rubbish. Brake calipers are leaking, causing permanent grease on the discs and pads. I am now completely switching to alternative manufacturers.

Awful Experience with Brakes23/08/2025

The bike is nice and light and I like the air fork for tuning, but the hydraulic disc brakes leak and are underpowered and rapidly glaze so they are noisy. We’ve replaced pads and rotors and taken it to professional shops twice but the noise comes back so fast my son refuses to brake and won’t ride it. Compared to the other Woom bikes with rim brakes, the amount of fuss and expense of professional bleeding and rotor/pad replacement for hydraulic disc brakes are a terrible choice for a kids bike.

low quality brakes, proprietary crank12/11/2024

Background -- bikes are my life, I've had many, and my kids started on balance bikes at age 3 or 4. I can fix anything on a bike, including building new wheels. We loved the Woom Original line of bikes. The Off bikes are not all that. The brakes are crap. Front brake had no power after 18 months, needed a bleed. The bleed kit costs more than the cheapest Shimano hydraulic brake (which works quite well). The rear brake started leaking at the caliper after 22 months, soaking the rotor, so zero stopping power. This bike only gets ridden 5 hours/month in summer, should need zero brake maintenance. The crank is a proprietary design, looks like you can't replace chainring. Derailleur hanger gets in way of inserting rear thru axle. Rear wheel was built wrong, a spoke is bent around a spoke head at the hub (assembly error; see right side of pic). Too many problems for what this cost.

Just commenting on the other review. I t does not come with a bottle cage but the down tube has screws so you can add one if you want. No hydration options on a mountain bike? No chance.

The bike is very smooth ride and very fast with little effort. Best feature of the bike is that chicks dig it. The bike is missing the option to carry a water bottle.
