BEAM Bike Lights

On the Woom 5 with fender and luggage rack, the lights are UNUSABLE. In the lowest setting A, the rear light is completely covered by the luggage rack and its reflector. Even at higher saddle settings, the light from luggage on the luggage rack would be blocked. Apart from that, the rubber sling doesn't really hold the light in place. When switched on, the light position is thus inadvertently adjusted. Woom is therefore focused on safety and is generally very well thought-out. It is all the more disappointing that the light is completely off. The light output is good. However, I am completely amazed at the mounting options. Everything else is very well thought out with you. Just not with the lamps. The rubber attachment slips when driving, if you have even found a position where you can install the lamp. A screw solution with a simple clip to remove would be great. Also so that, for example, the light can be removed at school so that it is not stolen. I can't even use the rear light right now because we currently have the Wood Explorer 5 with fender and luggage rack. The seatpost is still relatively far down and I simply can't find a place to install it where the light is then seen. So it's not for us to use :-( For the front, I have a makeshift on the frame, but it doesn't swing when you drive around the bend. Stupid too. It's really not good and it just doesn't suit you.

The new BEAM lights are great! Easy to mount, easy to charge, solid battery life, and high visibility. I liked that the front light can mount to the basket handle on my son's woom GO 2 (a clutch workaround when the middle bar on the handlebars is blocked with the basket). The best feature is that they turn off automatically after a few minutes of inactivity. My only critique is that the rear light doesn't have a good place to mount if the seatpost is in the lowest position (luckily a non-factor for us).

We are really happy with the new woom bike lights - they are robust and easy to attach to the woom bike and my daughter is always well seen, which is an absolute plus in the afternoon, especially at this time of year, we are thrilled, thank you woom!!!!

My daughter was blowing around on her woom 1 for the first time at Halloween - it was really cool because the lights were really great and she was therefore clearly visible - on Halloween she was the eye-catcher with the bike and the lights anyway! Also finds it really practical that you can turn them on and off... with the light on the helmet, it's also the perfect combination!!!

So the wheels are really great! However, the lighting solution is deficient. There is no way to center the light on the handlebars. The gears and brakes are also always in the way. With the rear light, it's really stupid that you can only attach it properly when the seatpost is extended a bit. And even then, it is still below the top of the fender, so that a large part of the lighting effect is lost. Suggested solution: develop a rear light that I can attach to the strut, which goes down from above at an angle to the wheel name.

Good quality and very easy to use. We are excited about it!
