How exactly does the POP Kids' Bike Basket attach?

The POP Kids' Bike Basket can be simply popped onto the handlebars and it slots into place. That way, children can easily attach and detach the basket themselves. No tools needed.

Which woom bikes does the POP Kids' Bike Basket fit?

The POP Kids' Bike Basket is compatible with all woom bikes with BMX-style bars – the woom GO 2, 3, 3 AUTOMAGIC and 4 and the woom ORIGINAL 2, 3 and 3 AUTOMAGIC.

Does the POP Kids' Bike Basket also fit the woom GO 1 PLUS and woom ORIGINAL 1 PLUS balance bikes?

No. In our experience, children should only ride with a bike basket once they're a competent cyclist. This is because children who are balance biking and in the early stages of learning to ride a bike are still developing certain skills. If you add a basket into the equation too soon, it may affect a child's ability to balance.

Does the POP Kids' Bike Basket sit securely on the bike while it's in motion?

Yes, absolutely. When attached to the handlebars, the POP Kids' Bike Basket is stable and secure while the bike is in motion.

Does the POP Kids' Bike Basket also work with older woom ORIGINAL models?

The basket also fits earlier woom ORIGINAL models in sizes 2 and 3 from model year 2018 onwards. You can click here to find out which model year your woom ORIGINAL originates from.

What material is the POP Kids' Bike Basket made with?

The basket is made exclusively from lightweight, durable and fully recyclable EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate), which is commonly used to make products like the soles of your shoes, foam for arts and crafts, as well as sandals (such as those from CROCS). It's a non-toxic, BPA-free material.

Does the POP Kids' Bike Basket fit bikes from other brands?

We designed the POP Kids' Bike Basket to fit our woom GO and woom ORIGINAL bikes. We've only tested it on these models, so we don't know if it's compatible with any other children's bike brands. For safety reasons, we would recommend only using the bike basket with woom bikes.

Are the decorative POP ONS included in the delivery?

No. POP ONS are available as an optional accessory. You can find them >>in our online shop here.

I want to add a bike light and reflectors to the POP Kids' Bike Basket for my child. How?

You can attach the bike light to the handle of your POP Kids' Bike Basket and clamp the front reflector onto the lower part of the BMX handlebars.

How much weight can the POP Kids' Bike Basket handle?

The basket has a 2 kg weight limit.

Will my child's favorite cuddly toy fit in the POP Kids' Bike Basket?

This depends on the size and style of the toy/doll. Small dolls and cuddly toys are highly likely to fit inside the POP Kids' Bike Basket. However, we cannot say the same for life-size baby dolls. Why not measure the size of their toy and compare it to our dimensions? The depth of the two compartments (measured on the inside, bottom to top edge): 10.4 cm / Length of the compartments (the longest edge of the triangle): 14.5 cm / Width of the compartments (measured across the triangle): 6.3 cm.
